St. Peter's Pipe Organ Gallery

Browse our gallery of photos and information about renovation of the pipe organ at St. Peter's.

The renovation work includes replacement of the old 2-manual console with a beautiful 3-manual console. This slideshow contains photos of preparation work on the 3-manual console, prior to the console being installed at St. Peter's.

Our second slideshow contains photos of renovation work being performed on the organ pipes, after the pipes were removed to the workshop of Lewis & Hitchcock, Inc.

Installation of the renovated organ was completed in October and early November 2007. Our third slideshow contains photos of our Organist, Music Director, and members of the Pipe Organ Fund Committee at the organ console on November 18, 2007, when the newly-installed organ was used at Sunday services for the first time.

St. Peter's marked the concert debut of the newly-renovated pipe organ on April 6, 2008 with Brass, Bells & Pipes. This milestone event featured music for pipe organ, brass instruments, handbells, and chorus. Read more about this wonderful afternoon of music and celebration.
