Dedicatory Organ Recital October 19 2009

A dedicatory organ recital featuring guest artist Haig Mardirosian will be the opening event in the 2008 - 2009 Concerts at St. Peter's season. The recital, marking the dedication of the renovated St. Peter's pipe organ, will be presented on Sunday, October 19, at 4:00 pm.

The guest artist for the dedicatory recital, Haig Mardirosian, has been a concert organist for 42 years and has performed in many of the most important concert venues throughout North America and Europe. He has over a dozen commercial recordings to his credit including well known and respected performances of the organ works of Bach, Brahms, Liszt, Petr Eben, and Jean Langlais. He records for Centaur Records and other labels.

All are invited to attend and to enjoy this festive afternoon of music. Admission to the recital is free (donations accepted in support of Concerts at St. Peter's). Join us at a reception, coordinated by the Fellowship Commission, following the recital.
